KISHTWAR, Oct 6: Two persons were arrested for raising anti-national and pro-ISIS slogans during Eid procession here.
As per police sources, after Eid prayers at Chowgan, a routine procession carrying Islamic flag started for Ziyarat of Sufi Saint Shah Farid-ud-Din Bagdadi.
Most of the people were raising Islamic slogans but a group of miscreants raised anti-national, pro-azadi and pro-ISIS slogans.
On the basis of recommendations of DM Kishtwar, police registered FIR number 218/14 under Section 153, 120-B, 153-A PRC at Police Station Kishtwar against 20 persons and arrested two persons namely Sakib and Mudasir.
SSP Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal confirmed the arrest of two persons and added that search is going on to nab others.
