KISHTWAR, Dec 25: Police here today arrested two persons with 111 bottles liquor.
At a checking point led by SHO Police Station Kishtwar, Inspector, Abid Bukhari accompanied by PSI, Vikram Katoch under the supervision of Dy.SP, Zia-Ul-Haq during frisking of vehicles and pedestrian police noticed suspicious moment of two pedestrian.
They were intercepted and during their search 111 bottles of liquor were recovered from their luggage and they were arrested on spot.
The arrested persons were Naveen Kumar son of Bhagat Ram of Fagmar Sarthal and Farooq Ahmed son of Gh Rasool resident of Marwah at present Sangrambatta Kishtwar.
In this connection a case in FIR No. 309/2022 U/Sec 48 (a), Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
