JAMMU, Dec 3: Janipur Police today recovered 37 grams of heroin from two drug peddlers under its jurisdiction.
According to a police spokesman, during patrolling duty, a team of Police Station Janipur constituted under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar rounded up two suspects namely Tasidaq Hussain son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Bandi Poonch (at present Chinore, Jammu) and Suraj Badyal son of late Napal Singh, resident of Kishtwar (at present Janipur).
He said during search, 37 grams of heroin was recovered from the accused persons. “Both the accused were arrested on spot and recovered heroin was seized while a case FIR Number 135/2022 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Janipur,” the spokesman said.
Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
