JAMMU, Nov 13: Jhajjar Kotli Police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 4.05 grams of heroin from their possession.
“A team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SDPO Nagrota Akash Kohli and assisted by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Azad Ahmed while on naka duty at Suketar naka, rounded up two suspects,” a Police spokesman said. He said on search, 4.05 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of the suspects.
The spokesman said that a case FIR Number 255/23 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and both the accused identified as Tarun Kumar son of Prem Chand resident of Chapar and Mushtaq Mohd son of Mir Baz resident of Urlani (Dansal), were arrested.
Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
