JAMMU, Jan 2: Bahu Fort Police today apprehended two drug peddlers with 60 grams of heroin.
A team of Police Station Bahu Fort rounded up two suspects namely Umar Beig son of Mohd Ameen Beig of Chinar (Bhaderwah) and Abu Usman son of Nizaket Ali Bhatt of Chaka (Bhaderwah) who were on their way from Narwal towards Panama Chowk in their vehicle bearing Registration Number JK06A-5035.
During search, 60 grams of heroin was recovered from the accused. In this regard, a case FIR Number 03/2023 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and both the accused arrested.
Further investigation of the case was going on.
