JAMMU, July 24: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested two persons along with cannabis and poppy straw.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK02CJ-0129.
During checking, police team recovered 4.400 kilograms cannabis and 15 kilograms of poppy straw from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Vicky, son of Rattan Lal of Salehar Arnia, District Jammu and Bikram Singh, son of Kher Singh of Pouni Chak District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 132/20 under Section 8/15/20/25/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Rajesh Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma, SP Rural Suram Singh and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
