BANIHAL, Apr 29: A police party headed by SHO Banihal Inspector Nayeem intercepted two pedestrians at a routine naka as the duo tried to flee on noticing cops.
During checking of the duo, 80 gm Charas was recovered and they were identified as Manzoor Ahmed Matoo, son of Gulzar Hassan Matoo and Asif Ahmed Shiekh, son of Abdul Rashid Shiekh, both residents of Dooligam, Banihal.
In this connection, a case in FIR No. 74/2021 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Banihal and investigation has been taken up by the cops.
