JAMMU, Oct 11: Miran Sahib police under Operation Sanjeevani arrested two persons along with heroin, here today.
According to police, during checking, a team from Miran Sahib police station signalled two motorcycle-borne youths to stop for checking.
On seeing police cops, they tried to escape, but were nabbed after a hot chase near village Gazia in Miran Sahib area.
During checking, police recovered three grams of heroin-like substance from them and arrested them.
A case under FIR Number 152/16 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against them at police station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Pawan Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
