Two held with heroin

JAMMU, May 24: Police claimed today that they have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 4.70 grams of heroin from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna, assisted by SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, while on naka duty rounded up two suspects.
On their search, he said, 4.70 grams of heroin was recovered.
“The accused identified as Ramesh Bhagat and Amit Bhagat of Chawala Morh, Tehsil RS Pura, Jammu, have been arrested and booked in case FIR number 103/2023 under sections 8/21/22/29/60 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib,” he said.
“Further investigations are on,” added the police spokesperson.
