RAMBAN, July 6: Police here today arrested two narco-peddlers and recovered four grams heroin from their possession at T-Chowk, Banihal.
Sources informed that cops from Police Station Banihal while conducting routine vehicle checking at T- Chowk intercepted two pedestrians coming from Railway Station Banihal side and moving towards Banihal town.
During frisking 4 gm heroin was recovered from their possessions after which Police arrested both Muneeb Farooq Sheikh, son of Farooq Ahmed, resident of Chareel, Banihal and Yasir Ahmed, son of Farooq Ahmed, resident of Banihal Pogal Paristan.
A case in FIR No. 113 of 2024 under Sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS was registered at Police Station Banihal in this regard and investigation started.
