JAMMU, Feb 11: Two drug peddlers were arrested with over 40 grams of heroin-like-substance from Fourth Bridge area here today.
A police official said that Manat Ali and Vijay Kumar, both residents of Chagani Ranjan, Bhalwal, Jammu, were arrested by a team of Police Station Nowabad with 41.64 grams of the consignment during naka checking at Niki Tawi near T-Chowk area on the Fourth Bridge.
Accordingly, he said, the duo was booked in case FIR number 18/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigation taken up.
