JAMMU, Nov 21: Two individuals were arrested with sharp-edged weapon from Bus Stand area today.
Sanjeev Sharma of Gujjru Nagrota, Tehsil Billawar, district Kathua, and Varun Mankota of Dewal, Tehsil Billawar, district Kathua, were arrested with sharp-edged weapon (toka) from General Bus Stand area while they were chasing one person using the weapon, a police official said.
According to him, the accused have been booked in case FIR number 57/2024 under sections 126(2)/351(3)/BNS, 4/25 Arms Act registered at Police Station Bus Stand and further investigation started.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of Police Station Bus Stand under the supervision of SDPO North Jammu and guidance of SP North Jammu.
