JAMMU, May 18: Bahu Fort Police arrested two heroin smugglers.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort laid a naka and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 25 grams heroin from the possession of the persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Aman Khajuria and Sourab Gupta.
It is presumed that both the arrested persons used to consume and smuggle heroin.
A case under FIR Number 136/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
