JAMMU, Mar 20: Government today relieved two Indian Forest Services (IFS) officers to enable them join their new places of postings in the Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Consequent upon this, one officer has been appointed against one of the vacant posts while another was given the additional charge of the other post.
“In pursuance of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India’s order, B Mohandass, Conservator of Forests (Wildlife)/Regional Wildlife Warden, Jammu is hereby relieved from the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, enabling him to join in the UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman, with immediate effect,” read an order issued by Forest, Ecology & Environment Department.
“Consequent upon the above, Dr MK Kumar, CCF/CF Jammu shall hold the charge of the post of Conservator of Forests (Wildlife)/Regional Wildlife Warden, Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” the order further said.
Another order issued by the Department said: “in pursuance of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India’s order, Sanjay Kumar Sinha, PCCF Central, holding the additional charge of the post of Director, Forest Research Institute, J&K, is hereby relieved with immediate effect from the UT of Jammu and Kashmir to enable him to join in the UT of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.”
“Consequent upon the above, J Frankoi, presently awaiting orders of the adjustment is hereby posted as Director, Forest Research Institute, J&K, with immediate effect, till further orders,” it said.
