SRINAGAR, Nov 17: Police today said two persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Kupwara and Ganderbal districts.
A police spokesman said a Sumo bearing registration number JK01E/4047 driven by Showkat Ahmed Kochi hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ishrat Jan at Arampora in Drugmulla area of Kupwara district. “The injured was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said that an Army casper vehicle bearing registration number 10R008898N driven by Naik Dileep Kumar hit a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01F/1613 driven by Bilal Ahmed Bhat near Power House in Ganderbal district, resulting in injuries to the driver of Maruti car. “The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard,” he added.
