DODA, Mar 13: Two persons were injured, when the Maruti 800 car they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Khelani.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AE-7595 was on its way from Doda to Assar, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into gorge near Khaleni, resulting injuries to two persons.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Doda, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Mudassar, son of Mohammad Rafiq and Mohammad Yaseen, son of Mohammad Ashraf, both residents of Assar.
A case in this regard has been registered at police post Khelani and investigation started.
