POONCH, Aug 16: The face of one person was critically injured while another person received minor injuries when bear attacked them at Bela Sethi in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district today.
Family members said that they both were in field near their house when bear suddenly attacked them. The face of one person got damaged another received injuries in back, both were taken to SDH Mandi, where one was treated and kept under observation while another was shifted to Srinagar.
Officials identified both injured as Mohd Farooq (45) son of Mohd Din and Mohd Ishaq (28) son of Hassan Din, both residents of Bela Sethi of block Loran in Tehsil Mandi.
