Two injured in clash at JU

JAMMU, Feb 3: A student and a security personnel were injured today in a clash at University of Jammu.
According to the reports, some students of Government MAM College today entered Zorawar Singh Auditorium in University of Jammu (JU) and launched physical attack on some law students to take revenge of some old rivalry.
He said the whole episode happened in the presence of ADGP Security Jammu Dr SD Singh Jamwal, who was present there as chief guest as a Youth Festival was underway there in the Auditorium.
Reports said that one of the security personnels present in the auditorium tried to pacify the assailants but they beat him too. In the clash, the security personnel and a law student received minor injuries.
The University authorities has taken serious cognizance in the matter while as per police sources, a case in this connection is being registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar. However, till reports came in, no FIR was registered in this connection.
