Two injured in clash over land issue

JAMMU, Nov 22: Two elderly men were injured today after they clashed with each other over some land issue at Bhour Camp in Chatha area of city outskirts.
“Two neighbours namely Inderjeet Singh (65) son of Partap Singh and Swarn Singh (66) son of Huqam Singh engaged in a verbal duel over a common wall between their houses and soon attacked each other with whatever they get in their hands,” a police official said.
He said in the quarrel, both the elderly men received head injuries and they were rushed to Government Hospital, Sarwal for medical treatment but after giving them initial treatment doctors of Sarwal Hospital referred both the injured persons to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where their condition was stated to be stable.
“In this connection, two counter FIRs were registered in police station Satwari and further investigation started,” the official added.
