JAMMU, Feb 3: Two persons sustained minor injuries during heated arguments between two sects in a Mosque at Digiana this afternoon.
SP City (South) Rajeshwar Singh, who has been officiating as SSP Jammu, said police had apprehension of arguments between two sects-Deobandi and Barelvi during a function at Digiana Mosque.
However, he added, everything passed off peacefully barring arguments between some persons of two sects.
Munir Ahmad and Bashir Ahmad sustained minor injuries in the clash, one of whom was hospitalized but his condition was stable.
Mr Singh said police acted timely and separated the warring groups.
