RAJOURI, Aug 16: Scooty driver and his pillion rider were seriously injured when their two wheeler collided head-on with a car coming from the opposite direction at Jawahar Nagar area of Rajouri, this evening.
As condition was one of the injured was critical, he was rushed to GMC Hospital Jammu.
The accident took place when the rashly driven Scooty collided with Brezza car, number JK11D-3562, which was going towards Jawahar Nagar from Khandli bridge. Due to the collision, Scooty driver Qamar Shafiq son of Wazir Hussain, age 27 years, resident of Dhanor Jarala and pillion rider Shah Nawaz , son of Kaiser Hussain, age 24 years, resident of Khandli Rajouri, were injured .
The local rushed both of them to GMC Hospital Rajouri where after first aid treatment, Qamar Shafiq was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for better treatment.
