SAMBA, Mar 12: Two people were injured in a road mishap after the scooty on which they were travelling was hit by a car near DC Office here, today.
According to the report, the mishap took place at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near DC Office Samba, when the driver of the car bearing Registration Number JK02AT- 8585 which was moving towards Jammu from Samba, lost the control over the vehicle after reaching near DC office, and suddenly hit with a scooty bearing Registration Number JK21B- 8086. As a result scooty rider and his pillion rider got critical injuries.
The duo was brought to District Hospital Samba for treatment. After giving the first aid, the doctors referred both of them to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
The injured have been identified as Tej Ram, 48, son of Nanak Chand of Bari Brahmana and Des Raj, 60 son of Chuni Lal resident of Datta Talab, Bari Brahamana.
Police has taken the cognizance of the matter and started further investigations.
