Two injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Dec 22: Two persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in Kashmir valley today.
A Maruti car JK03-5170 on way from Mir Bazar to Anantnag collided with an unknown truck near flyover Wanpoh in district Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Maruti car Vakeel Ahmad Malik, 45, son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Rampora, Mattan. The injured was hospitalized. Police have registered a case in this regard.
A Tipper JK01A-8151 hit a motorcycle JK09-0114 at Wahipora on National Highway at Handwara, resulting in injuries to pillon Mohammad Ayub Mouchi son of Abdul Rahim resident of Maidan Chogal. The injured was rushed to Chogal Hospital where from he was referred to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar. Both the vehicles were seized by Police and have taken up investigation.
