KISHTWAR, Sept 8: Two persons received injuries, when they entered into scuffle and later stabbed each other with sharp edged weapon over deal of banned forest produce ‘nagchatri’ in a hotel here today.
As per police sources, Ghulam Hassan, son of Mohammad Sabir Butt of Pethgam Marwa and Nazir Ahmed, son of Abdullah of Bhalessa had entered into verbal dual over deal of banned forest produce ‘nagchatri’ here today in a hotel.
The situation turned ugly, when Ghulam Hassan and Nazir Ahmed stabbed each other with sharp edged weapon.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Kishtwar, where Nazir Ahmed was undergoing treatment and Ghulam Hassan was discharged after first -aid.
Police arrested Ghulam Hassan and also seized the weapon of offence from the hotel room.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
