JAMMU, Mar 23: Two elderly persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
A pedestrian identified as Somnath (75) son of Hari Ram, resident of Malpur, tehsil Palwal, was hit and injured by a speeding car at Malpur. An unknown female pedestrian of age about 70 years was also hit and injured by a rashly driven bike at Narwal Chowk.
Both the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
