JAMMU, Jan 1: The Central Board of Direct Taxes, New Delhi promoted two senior officers of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) to higher posts in the Department.
An order in this regard was issued today.

The order read, Satbir Singh, IRS was today promoted to the post of Additional Commissioner of Income Tax.
Singh who belongs to J&K and has earlier served in Jammu, Srinagar and Kathua on various positions viz, ITO, Deputy Director of Income Tax (Investigation) and Joint Commissioner of Income Tax.
He is currently posted in Directorate of Income Tax (Vigilance), New Delhi as Additional Director of Income Tax (Vigilance).
Rajesh Raina, IRS was also promoted to the post of Additional Commissioner of Income Tax.
Raina also belongs to J&K and has earlier served in Jammu/Srinagar as Income Tax Officer.
After promotion in 2013, he was posted to Delhi and held various positions viz, Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Director of Income Tax (Investigation).
He also served as Joint Commissioner of Income Tax Kurukshetra and is currently posted in Directorate of Income Tax (Vigilance), New Delhi as Additional Director of Income Tax.
