JAMMU, Dec 1: Two Army soldiers were killed and another injured in an accidental blast during firing practice at forward village of Samwan, located on the Line of Control (LoC) in Pallanwalla sector of Jammu district.
Reports said the blast took place during practice firing at Samwan this evening.
Army jawans killed in the blast have been identified as Sepoy Surjeet Singh son of Prem Singh, a resident of Chamoli, Uttarakhand and Rifleman Suraj Singh son of Narain Singh R/o Almora, Uttarakhand.
Injured was identified as Naik Sandeep Kumar. He was evacuated from the site of blast and admitted in the hospital.
Investigations were on, sources said.
