SAMBA, Feb 2: Two jawans of Army were killed after their Alto car met with an accident at Samba early this morning.
According to police two jawans of JAKLi who were on way to their home from Pathankot died after their car first hit a divider on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Vir Bhoomi Park Samba and then rolled down into a 10 feet deep gorge.
The duo died on the spot. The newly purchased car was without any number plate. The duo was identified as Parshotam Kumar, son of Bihari Lal of SIDCO, Chowk, Bari Brahmana and Bachan Singh, S/O Parkash Singh of R S Pura.
The two jawans were on their way to their home from Pathankot.
The Samba Police has registered a case and the dead bodies were handed over to their family members for cremation after postmortem.
