KISHTWAR, Mar 1: Police rescued two kidnapped girls and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, family members of a girl hailing from Kuwar, Dool area lodged a complaint with police station Kishtwar that their daughter has been kidnapped by Farid Ahmed, son of Adbul Qadir, a resident of Nagara.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 35/16 under Section 366 and 109 RPC was registered and investigation started.
On specific information, police team rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused.
Meanwhile, Kishtwar police also recovered another kidnapped girl and arrested the accused.
The family members of an 18-year-old girl hailing from Kuntwara area lodged a complaint with police station that their daughter has been kidnapped by Amrik Singh of Balgran Bunjwah.
The kidnapped girl has been recovered and the accused was also arrested by the police.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
