Two killed, 2 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Sept 18: Two persons were killed while two others injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said that a vehicle JK01N/7762 hit and seriously injured a boy, Sulaiman Rather, son of Bashir Ahmad of Bramarri at Bramarri in district Kupwara.
The injured youth was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries,
An Eicher bearing JK03C/4748 hit and critically injured a pedestrian woman, Fatima wife of Ghulam Ahmad Thoker of Sherabad, Tral at Chechkoot, Awantipora in district Pulwama. The injured woman succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital.
The spokesperson said an i-10 car JK04C/0114 hit and injured a boy, Aamir Bashir Nangroo, 6, of Lawaypora, at Lawaypora in Srinagar. He was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
A Tipper JK013/0984 driven by Farooq Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Maqbool of Panzgam, Kokernag hit a Maruti car JK01A/1123 near Police Colony Gate, Qamarwari, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to one person travelling in the Maruti car. The injured has been shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment. The spokesperson said police has registered cases in these accidents.
