JAMMU, Oct 16: Two persons were killed in accidents here today.
As per police sources, a man was killed after a bus hit him near Muthi Chowk area.
The deceased was identified as Biran Kashyap, son of Sonu Kashyap of Chhattisgarh, at present Dream City Dharmal, District Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
Meanwhile, in another accident, a man was killed after his motorcycle was hit by army vehicle near Satwari Chowk area.
The deceased was identified as Shiv Dayal, son of Isher Dass, a resident of Langotian Miran Sahib District Jammu.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Gandhi Nagar and Domana and investigation started.
