JAMMU, Oct 4: Two persons died in a road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway in Nagrota area here today.
Two persons, Waqar Ahmed (approximately 24-25) son of Ghulam Mohammad Naik of Ramban and Arjun Singh (25) son of Pritam Singh of Bhaga, Reasi were riding on their bike (JK02DE-7590) when they lost control over the two-wheeler near a flyover at Nandini area of Nagrota around 10:15 am today, owing to which their bike fell off the flyover, resulting in their death on-the-spot. They were on their way to Jammu from Jhajjar Kotli area.
Soon after police got the information, a team from Nagrota Police Station reached at the spot and shifted the bodies the deceased to the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and further investigation taken up.
