LEH, July 7: A driver and conductor of a truck died when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Buzgoo Nimoo on Srinagar-Leh highway in the Union Territory of Ladakh today.
Reports said that a truck bearing Registration No. JK03D/5004 which was on way from Srinagar to Leh skidded off the road and fell into 400-ft deep gorge Near Buzgoo area in Leh district.
Reports said that police, Army ambulance and locals reached the spot but conductor and driver of the vehicle had died on spot.
The duo has been identified as Shahnawaz Sadiq Sofi R/o Saloora and Zahoor Ahmad Wani, a resident of Yangoora Ganderbal.
