JAMMU, Feb 16: At least two persons died in separate road accidents in Jammu on Thursday, police said.
They said that one Vaibhav (17) son of Kishore Singh Jamwal of Bari Brahamana was injured after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck at Gangyal area on February 15.
He was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC) Jammu where he breathed his last today, police said.
In another accident, they said, one Sushil (31) son of Gogi Massi of Samba was injured on February 14 after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by an unknown vehicle at Vijaypur.
He was also shifted to GMC Jammu where he didn’t respond to the treatment today, police further said.
The bodies of the duo have been shifted to the mortuary of the GMC&H Jammu for post-mortem and cases under relevant sections of the law have been registered at concerned police stations.
Further investigations are on, added police.
