JAMMU, May 2: At least two persons died in separate road accidents in the region today, officials said.
They said on Shadab (29) son of Islamuddin of Bijnor, UP, was hit by a car in Udhampur District on April 10.
He was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, where he breathed his last today, the officials said.
In another accident at Mumka area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Kullian in RS Pura on April 29, 2023, officials said, one Paramjeet Kour (34) wife of Jasbir Singh of Chohala, RS Pura, suffered injuries after the motorcycle she was riding on as a pillion rider was hit by a car.
She was also rushed to Government Medical College Jammu where she didn’t respond to the treatment today, they said.
While police have registered cases under relevant sections of the law at concerned police stations bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem.
