JAMMU, May 1: Two people died in separate road accidents in Jammu District, police said.
They said one Uttam Singh (36) of Doda at present Miran Sahib suffered injuries after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by an auto rickshaw on April 22 at Miran Sahib.
He was admitted to Government Medical College Jammu, where he breathed his last today, police said.
One Ajay (28) son of Tara Chand of Lane number 14, House Number 319, Hazuri Bagh, Talab Tillo, Bohri, was also admitted to GMC Jammu today after he suffered injuries when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by an unknown vehicle.
He also succumbed to his injuries around 2:44 pm, said police.
While the bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the mortuary for conducting the post-mortems, cases under the relevant sections of the law stand registered at concerned police stations and further investigations taken up.
