SRINAGAR, Nov 21: Police today said a man who was injured in a road accident on last week here succumbed yesterday evening while another was killed in a mishap.
A police spokesman said last week on 13 November, a Scooty rider identified as Abdul Ahad Najar was injured. The injured succumbed to his injuries last evening at SKIMS Soura. After completion of medico legal formalities, body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
The spokesman said a tractor bearing registration number JK10-6367 met with an accident at Maha Bodhi in Leh district, resulting in on spot death of driver identified as Chemat Wangbo. Police have registered a case in this regard, he added.
