BHADERWAH, Nov 27: Two persons died while as another sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Tantana area of Gundana tehsil here today.
The ill-fated vehicle (JK06B-1533) was on its way towards Gundana from Thathri, when the driver lost control on the steering, owing to which the vehicle fell into a 250 feet deep gorge.

SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom said, “the accident occurred around 5 am on Tanta-Gundana road, resulting in death of two persons and the animals they were carrying in the vehicle on-the-spot and injuries to the driver, Aqib Gulzar.”
He said the injured has been shifted to the Government Medical College Doda.
Police have identified the deceased as Mir Ali son of Noor Hussain of Konthal and Zafarullah son of Talib Hussain of Dandi, Bhala.
A case under relevants Sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Doda and further investigation taken up.
