RAMNAGAR, Sept 12: A mother and her infant baby was killed while one person is seriously injured in a house collapse at village Plassian seven kilometers from here this evening.
According to SDPO Ramnagar, Virender Bhat the house of one Des Raj collapsed at 8pm today due to heavy rains resulting in the instant death of his wife and infant female child. He said Des Raj who was seriously injured in the house collapse is in a state of unconsciousness.
Soon after the incident a police team from Ramnagar led by Mr Bhat and SHO Ramnagar rushed to the spot. They shifted the dead and injured Des Raj to SDH Ramnagar.
All the three inmates of the house were inside during the fateful incident. The panic gripped the entire village after the news spread. The police has registered a case. The dead bodies after the autopsy will be handed over to the relatives for last rites tomorrow.
