JAMMU, July 19: Police Station Women Cell booked six persons including two ladies in dowry demand case.
As per police sources, a lady was brutally tortured by her husband and in-laws and thrown out of house along with her baby after few years of marriage.
On the complaint of Neha Kumari, daughter of Ashok Kumar, a case under FIR Number 35/2021 under Sections 498-A and 109 IPC was registered against Ram Paul, Jagdish Raj, Raj Kumari, Ravi Kumar, Ashu Devi and Bodh Raj, all resident of Village Sungal Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
