JAMMU, Apr 11: The lane number six and seven in Jagti township has plunged into darkness after the power transformer feeding the two lanes from block 30 to 34 has developed a snag two days back.
In a statement issued here, today Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) president, Shadi Lal Pandita has made an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner and Chief Engineer, M&RE, Jammu to issue the directives to concerned staff to get the transformer replaced immediately. He said as Summer season has set in the immediate restoration of power supply in the two lanes be given priority so that the people are not put to hardships.
