JAMMU, Jan 29: Two youth today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city and its outskirts.
According to police sources, a youth namely Aashiq Hussain (20) son of Mohd Jamwal Sheikh, a resident of Srinagar (at present Rehari Chungi) today consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Another youth namely Mukesh Kumar (27) of Gangyal also tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
The condition of both the youth was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. The concerned police have taken cognizance in both cases.
