SRINAGAR, Feb 18: Two persons tried to end their lives by consuming poisonous substance in separate incidents.
A police spokesman said that a lady (name with-held) resident of Wavoora-Lolab, Kupwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sogam where from she has been referred to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said that Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, aged 22 years, son of Abdul Majeed resident of Girdannowa-Nowshera, Boniyar consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to Public Health Center, Boniyar for treatment, where from he was referred to District Hospital Baramulla. A case has been registered in this regard.
