JAMMU, Feb 25: Two married women were among three, who allegedly tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences.
As per reports, 30-year-old Priyanka, wife of Sunil Kumar of RS Pura allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to RS Pura Hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
In another incident, 26-year-old Sarbjeet Kour, wife of Navdeep Singh of Channi tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
Meanwhile, 49-year-old Romesh Chander, son of Ayodhya Prakash of Gole Gujral made an abortive attempt to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
Family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports poured in.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
