Srinagar : Two militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba were killed in a encounter with the security forces in Satipora Shopian district
Encounter broke out at Hend Satipora village after a joint team of the army, Special Operations Group and the CRPF cordoned off the area.
The cordon was laid following credible inputs about the presence of some militants in the area during the encounter both the militants hiding in the area were killed.
The bodies of the slain were recovered along with as many weapons and other war like stores, the duo were wanted in several militant related attacks (Agencies)
