UDHAMPUR, Apr 7: Two minor girls drowned while taking bath in nallah in Ramnagar today, police sources said.
The deceased were identified as Sushma Devi (13), daughter of Subash Singh, a resident of Kaghote and Pooja Devi (15), daughter of Seva Singh, a resident of Bainsta Morha Kah.
Bodies of both the girls were fished out from the nallah and shifted to mortuary of SDH Ramnagar for completion of medical and legal formalities.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Ramnagar Police.
