Two missing youth join militancy?

JAMMU, Apr 12: Two youths were mysteriously missing from their houses at Keshwan in Kishtwar district and police didn’t rule out that they might have joined the militancy.
Confirming the missing of youth and manhunt launched for them by security forces and police, reliable sources identified them as Ashiq Ahmad, 22 and Akhter Hussain, 23, both residents of Keshwan.
Police have registered their missing report on the complaint of their families.
However, Intelligence and security agencies as well as police were of the view that the youth might have joined the militancy.
Security forces and police have been searching them, sources said, adding the efforts were on to capture the youth before they become active militants.
Worthwhile to mention here that a group of militants was still active in Kishtwar district and they were trying to rope-in more local youth with them in the absence of any infiltration from across the border.
