JAMMU, Sept 7: RS Pura Police arrested two mobile phones snatchers.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Police Station RS Pura by a person namely Parveen Kumar, son of Sham Lal, a resident of Ward Number RS Pura stating therein that he was coming from Jammu towards his house and when reached in main market RS Pura, one unknown accused along with his associate restrained his way and snatched his mobile phone valuing Rs 15000.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 175/22 under sections 341 and 382 IPC was registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
During course of investigation, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Pawan Dogra under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh put in hectic efforts and finally arrested two snatchers, who were identified as Sunny Kumar, son of Krishan Lal of Ward Number 11 RS Pura and Mahinder Singh, son of Karnail Singh of Tallein RS Pura.
On their disclosure, the snatched mobile phone was also recovered. In addition to this, 19 more mobile phones were also recovered from their possession.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
