JAMMU, May 20: Jammu Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 6 grams of heroin from their possession.
“A team of Police Station Janipur led by SDPO West Vikram Singh and assisted by SHO Janipur Inspector Sikander Singh while on naka duty at Sishu Samadhi (Buta Nagar, Paloura) rounded up two suspected persons and on search, recovered 6 grams of heroin from their possession,” a Police spokesman said.
He said a case FIR Number 51/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Janipur and both the peddlers identified as Rohit Zadoo son of Bansi Lal Zadoo and Dilawar Singh son of Pritam Singh (both residents of Laxmi Nagar, Muthi), were arrested.
Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
