RAJOURI, Nov 20: The police nabbed two person involved in narcotics smuggling and seized 11 grams of a heroin from their possession.
Reports said during routine checking at Bela Naka, a police, team led by SHO Rajouri Abid Bukhari intercepted a vehicle (Registration No. JK11E 5987) which was coming from the old bus stand side towards Bela Bridge.
The individuals in the vehicle were identified as Danish Ahmed, son of Naseer Hussain, resident of Dhanore, Dhindian and Sageer Ahmed, son of Mohd Ayoub, resident of Dhanore, Loharian.
Upon conducting a personal search, 11 grams of a heroin-like substance was recovered from their possession.
A case has under FIR No. 517/24 U/S 8/21/22/25/29 of NDPS Act has been registered against them at Rajouri Police Station.
